Lobster Fair

Brent's coworker bought him 2 lobsters from their churchs lobster fair fundraiser. We brought them home and played with them before we cooked them for Brent's birthday dinnner. Felicity enjoyed watching them, and did the sign for "hot" when she touched their sharp claws. I guess "hot" and pain are similar sensations. She really wasn't afraid of them.

These are pictures from 3 weeks ago when Felicity's friend Caleb spent the night (while his little sister was being born!). I thought it was so funny how they both wanted to put the same plastic toy in their mouths.

Mommy's Dress

Felicity is wearing one of my dresses that was given to me by my grandma Osborne. This was taken before church last Sunday.

Getting ready for Portraits

I had Felicity try on some different dresses before going to get portraits done. She really didn't like this dress-she had a fit when I put it on her. I think it just had too much skirt. So we didn't use it in the portraits, but I still think it is cute. She kept trying to pull it off over her head.

Here are some family portraits we had taken yesterday. There are a lot more I will post later. Felicity didn't want to smile too much, but she did pretty well. Aida and Mom-mom, if you have a favorite, let me know and I can order you one.

A Really Good Hugger

Felicity has become a great hugger. Here she is hugging our friend David on a visit to Chapel Hill this weekend. Every morning she gives big hugs and pats our backs during the hug. I was a little surprised that she gave one to David, but she seemed to know that a hug was the right thing to do when visiting friends.

The Fair

Felicity and I rode an elephant ride at the Fair on Friday. She was so excited about everything and kind of whiny because she wanted everything at the fair. It was pretty overstimulating for her. We rode this and the carosel, but I think she was too confused on both rides to enjoy it too much.

Getting Ready for Church

This video is so cute. She loves to sit at my vanity and pretend to put on make up. She just recently found my brushes and loves to brush as you can see. She actually kept the bow in about 5 minutes before she remembered it and pulled it out.

Science Fair

We went to Brent's science fair last Wednesday for his elementary methods students. I was a judge and Felicity was entralled as well, especially with the project that had bananas, her favorite fruit, which she calls something like "nana". She also very clearly, but quietly says "poop" now.
