Henry had two doctor's appointments this week. At his 4 month check-up, he was 14 pounds 5 ounces, which is 25%, and he was also 25% for height. They said he looked great. He still hasn't had an ear infection despite lots of runny noses. His eye doctor appointment on Wednesday went fine. The doctor said his pupil was normal even though it had a little extra dark spot on the top, he said that is normal in some kids and usually goes away. So we have a happy, healthy guy who loves to blow raspberries, as you can see from the video. 
Brent couldn't believe that Felicity's hand fit all the way to the end of the box. 
Our sunflowers sprouted. Thanks Stephanie! We planted them outside. 
Brent's mom will appreciate this picture. I'll have to scan Brent's baby picture for folks to compare. There is a picture of Brent in this same outfit doing the same pose in his crib. 
I got tired of Felicity eating her hair and crying every time I brushed it, so I chopped it off. It is pretty uneven in the back, but a few people have asked me where I got it cut, so it must not look too bad. 
She wanted to get in this box again after she saw a picture of herself as a baby in it. 
He needs the bear in there to keep his head from bonking the counter. 
Felicity set up books around Henry for him to read. I don't think he read them though. He is very into his hands these days.
Henry can sit somewhat in a high chair now. So I sit him in this counter chair now while I cook and he either eats his hands or watches me cook.
Henry kept turning his head to the side, so Felicity started doing it too.
Pretending with dolls continues to be Felicity's favorite thing to do. She likes to be the
Felicity decided she wanted to feed Henry. So she gave him a few bites of mashed up bananas. He wasn't too keen on the whole process, an I don't think he swallowed any of it. 
Took Henry to the doctor today because I thought he might have pink eye. I took Felicity along to the appointment hoping the doctor would also check her out and make sure she was ok since she coughs some at night the last week. Turns out she has possible strep throat and the beginnings of an ear infection. The doctor was nice enough just to write me a prescription for her at Henry's appointment, so I didn't need another appt. for her, or even another copay. I thought kids got fevers with strep, but I guess not always. So she is on oral antibiotics and Henry has eye drops. The doctor said that kids usually get ear infections with pink eye, so she was glad to see Henry's ears looked good. All these things I never learned in nursing school. I am getting quite the education.
